Interesting and quite perplexing if you want to go down this road. It's kind of like the Chicken and The Egg. I tuned into a new TV show called "Perception", last night online. Eric McCormack (from Will & Grace) plays a neuro scientist / college professor who uses his talent to help solve criminal cases. Now here's the point, in this episode, he made a comment about processed sugar being bad for ones' health. Now regardless of that his character went on to say that it was a game plan so to speak that processed sugar could lead to diabetes which in turn could lead to the pharmaceutical industry making money off people who developed diabetes. Hence this episode focused on a drug from a pharmaceutical company and a murder case. If you just ponder this for a nanosecond and please don't get to deep in thought could it be true? I prefer to stick to the theory from me ol' friend Mary Poppins - "A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down....."
